By far one of my favourite contemporary artists, who turned 90!!!! this month.Happy Birthday Ronald!  I remember being 5 or 6 and flipping through the pages of my parents humungous Ronald Searle art book (on the right) which they had kept on a shelf in our library out of reach from my curiosity. Surprise! Filled with characters, scenes which screamed irony, sarcasm, wit, humour…you name it. And of course there are the St. Trinian girls whose experience at school was one I sometimes wished I had (private all girls schools in London can sometimes mirror a day at the Tower of London back when it was in use)
